Yoga with Izzie

I can't say I fell in love with yoga immediately. When I first started attending classes I couldn't keep up with the fast-paced flow sequences, I couldn't quieten my mind in relaxation and I couldn't balance on one leg - here I am at the Eden Project desperately trying not to fall over for the photo!

I moved to Hong Kong in 2015 and had the privilege of learning from some incredible teachers and slowly things started to click.

It's been over 10 years since my first class and there are still days where I find myself falling over in Tree Pose, I've yet to get into a headstand without assistance and calming my mind is very much an ongoing journey. But in this time I learnt to stop comparing myself to others, to my previous practices or to what I thought yoga should be. I learnt to allow my practice to meet me exactly where I am in that moment, without judgement or expectation. I found my yoga.

Now as a 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Teacher, I hope to guide you to find your yoga.
